ADVANCE INNOVATIVE EDUCATION WINS $35.5K GRANT FOR CHARTER SCHOOL ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION

Advance Innovative Education (AIE), a premier organization in charter school design and leadership development, was recently awarded a $35,500 Redesigning Lesson Re-envisioning Principals (RLRP) Alternative Principal Certification Program (Induction Program) grant by the Huey and Angelina Wilson Foundation.  The goal of this project is to provide ongoing support to RLRP Program graduates.

This mission of Advance Innovative Education is to promote systemic change through initiatives that deliver dramatically improved performance of educators so they may become catalysts of change that are desperately needed in Louisiana’s schools. The vision of AIE is to develop and strengthen its role and reputation as the leading public education reform organization in Louisiana.

Redesigning Lessons, Re-envisioning Principals (RLRP) is a principal certification program that is delivered in partnership with the LSU College of Business, area school districts, and charter schools. Our vision is to create educational leaders who possess the courage and skills to change school cultures, and who push instructional issues to the forefront in order to maximize the potential of every child.
