AIE Wins $50K Grant to Support RSD Achievement Zone

Advance Innovative Education (AIE), a Louisiana non-profit, was recently awarded a $50,000 grant by the Huey and Angelina Wilson Foundation to support RSD’s newly formed “Achievement Zone” in Baton Rouge.The “Achievement Zone” is an initiative to improve educational options for students in the north Baton Rouge community.
AIE understands that the key to transformative educational change in a community is the engagement of all its stakeholders coupled with strong school leaders and leadership teams.
This grant award enables AIE to bring leadership development opportunities to RSD’s schools identified in its Achievement Zone. Additionally AIE will be able to provide education to the community re: school choice, especially charter schools.
