ADVANCE INNOVATIVE EDUCATION WINS $7500K GRANT FOR SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Advance Innovative Education (AIE), a premier organization in leadership development, was recently awarded a $7,500 Scholarship grant by the Boo Grigsby. These funds will allow 2 highly qualified persons to go through our RLRP program to be trained as school leaders. This project is an opportunity to produce new leaders who have the courage and skills to change school cultures, pushing instructional issues to the forefront of the reform agenda. Redesigning Lessons, Re-envisioning Principals (RLRP), is a program to develop principals and assistant principals so they master essential leadership skills.

This mission of Advance Innovative Education is to promote systemic change through initiatives that deliver dramatically improved performance of educators so they may become catalysts of change that are desperately needed in Louisiana’s schools. The vision of AIE is to develop and strengthen its role and reputation as the leading public education reform organization in Louisiana.

This is the third year that Advance Innovative Education has partnered with Boo Grigsby Foundation.

Redesigning Lessons, Re-envisioning Principals (RLRP) is a principal certification program that is delivered in partnership with the LSU College of Business, area school districts, and charter schools. Our vision is to create educational leaders who possess the courage and skills to change school cultures, and who push instructional issues to the forefront in order to maximize the potential of every child.
