Transforming schools into true centers of academic success begins with school leaders and staff. AIE takes a tailored approach to professional development that carefully integrates research-based strategies, specific school needs, state requirements, and local resources and expertise.
AIE will help schools and districts strengthen and extend existing professional development services to bridge gaps and enhance expertise in key areas: leadership, instructional skill-building, literacy and numeracy, state reporting, scheduling, accountability, community engagement, parental involvement, and more. Dedicated AIE staff will work with your staff before, during, and after sessions to ensure that true change does occur.
Depending on a school or district’s needs, AIE can deliver professional development services in person, on or off-site, 100% online, or customize a blended model of delivery. For example, an customized blended professional development program may include an intensive online coursework component, an infusion of targeted site-based support (i.e. coaching), focused seminars and conferences, and a rigorous curriculum targeted at teaching school leaders and teachers how to both effect school-wide change and how to measure progress towards change.
